Principal's Message:

For everyone who returned to FHS this year you will notice we are doing a short one pager newsletter most Fridayā€™s.Ā Ā The first Friday of the month (today) will be our much more in-depth Newsletter that you saw weekly.Ā Ā We are being responsive to feedback that it was just ā€œtoo muchā€ on a weekly basis.Ā Ā 
The start to the school year has been great.Ā Ā I can even share that a teacher said they think this might be their favorite 9th grade class yet.Ā Ā Iā€™ve had a chance to get into a lot of classes and Iā€™m seeing a lot of great teaching and learning.Ā Ā 
Sports are all off to a great start.Ā Ā Our XC team will be competing in Modesto this weekend.Ā Ā Volleyball JV and Varsity both got the W last night.Ā Ā Football did well in their scrimmage a few weeks ago and their first game is tonight at Florin.Ā Ā The talk of the town right now is our Flag Football team.Ā Ā They have been tearing it up with resounding victories of 37-0, 56-0, 69-0, 36-6 and 32-0.Ā Ā Wow! Way to go Wildfires.Ā Ā
